About Us
Argyle North Community Association is located in the north-end of the city of Regina and includes the subdivisions of Argyle Park, Englewood and Hawkstone. We are a small, close-knit community perfectly suited to a family-oriented lifestyle. We are always looking for volunteers for a number of positions on the board, and welcome new ideas on what you would like to see offered within in our community. If you have a special skill and are interested in teaching, we have opportunities for instructors as well. We hold many functions for the community throughout the year such as our annual Santa Pancake Breakfast, semi-annual Trade & Craft Shows and other great free programming. Watch our community signs at the two entrances into the Argyle Park subdivision, through the ANCA website ancaregina.ca or through our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter social media pages.
Program Registration Information
To participate in any city-wide community association program the following basic conditions will apply:
- A community association membership is required from your local community association. The fee is $5.00 per family per year. Memberships may be purchased in advance at the ANCA Community Centre or online at anytime by clicking here. Please note community association memberships are non-refundable.
- If you cannot afford any of the programs, alternative methods of payment may be discussed in confidence by calling the Community Centre office at 306.543.5653 and leaving a message.
- Registration for programs is received on a first come, first serve basis. A minimum registration has been set for each class. If an insufficient number register for a class, the class will be cancelled and registrants will receive a refund of the class. If more people register for a class than a class can hold, a waiting list will be taken and a new class organized if possible.
- If you register for a program and later decide you do not want to attend, we regret we cannot refund all or a portion of your course fee one week prior to the commencement of the program. The course fee is charged to pay instructor’s fees.
- Registering for community programs and classes are handled through our online registration system at 6:00 p.m. on the designated date of registration night. If you are unable to utilize the online registration system, you can physically register at the Argyle North Community Centre office after 6:00 p.m. on registration night. EARLY REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you are unable to register for a class on registration night, the online registration system is available through this website 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Alternately, you can drop in to the ANCA Community Centre office during the regular office hours later in the week.
- There is a reciprocity agreement among the community associations whereby members in other city associations can partake in activities and programs offered by the others if there are openings. Priority is given to the local residents within our community.
Community Association Memberships fees are used to cover the costs of website hosting and to help subsidize the cost of community social functions. Memberships can be purchased in person during our regular office hours at the Community Centre or online by clicking here.
We accept payments by credit card or direct account deibit for all online membership and program registrations purchases. PAYPAL is no longer accepted as payment method.
How to Register
Registering for community programs is now handled through our online registration system. Online registration opens on the designated registration date at 6:00 pm. sharp. If you are unable to utilize the online registration system or prefer to pay via cash or cheque, you need to physically come to the Argyle North Community Centre office after 6:00 p.m. on the designated registration date. EARLY REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. If you miss our registration night, you can still register through our online registration system 24 hours a day, seven days a week for your convenience. Or you can drop by the Argyle North Community Centre office during our regular office hours.
